brief: make the watch move like a real watch.
we need to make the watch in illustrator (vector) then use after effects to animate it.
and oh man it's really hard to make the leather part. i cant use gradient mesh (too detail) or pure gradient (looks awful), i've tried a lot but didnt work. if anyone could help me how to make the leather part, i'd really appreciate it =]
I don't really know how chronograph watch works x_x

top pushbutton starts/stops chronograph.
bottom pushbutton resets chronograph.
middle one, called a crown, sets date and time.

on the face.
the lil circles are called subdials.
3 o'clock subdial are the actual seconds for time.
seconds hand on face are the seconds for chronograph.
9 o'clock subdial is minutes, up to 30 minutes, when it hits the 30 mark, one increment on the 6 o'clock dial moves. finally, the 6 o'clock subdial is up to 12 hours.

Did you use a catalogue picture to base this on?
Would love to see it run. Planning on making the buttons work the chrono as well?

aww lol from the thumbnail.
urm this was for my project anyway, and i already gave it to the teacher. i haven't had time to do the button, cos i dont know how it works and i only need to do 3 animations from the watch, so i decided to animate the long, short and second hand, and the date.
thanks for the fav anyway =]
oh and i did the animation, the file is like 6meg or something, the link is in the description box =x
